Spring is Coming!

It's 4:30 AM on the west coast. That makes it 5 PM in India.
Called our girl (the Pink Princess)
to let her know about scheduling a phone interview for a
Summer job.

She has been gone a long time but will be back soon.

Just like the flowers.

When it's Winter we make do.
A cold frame from Mothology -
protecting the flowering kale from a hard freeze.

(Or maybe it's just in the garden looking uber cool!)

We bring a little Spring inside -- like these violets from
Raised in Cotton.

Aren't they beautiful!

At my house - Spring is creeping in. And today was GORGEOUS!

The daffodils are smiling at me and
the grape hyacinths are peeking out.

And our "baby" will be home soon.

I love the freshness of Spring.

It's not Summer with it's full blooms and balmy breezes --
long days and running through the fountains.

Yes, I know Winter is still close at hand.

But I have the promise of Spring
and that is enough for now.
Have a great day!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!
There's no place better than the North-West coast, when the sun is shining & it starts to smell like spring...Just hope it will last for a while :o)
