Does it start
with
a sensuous shape
and that
"Come Hither"
SPARKLE?
Or is it
the
notorious
GANG OF RED
overcoming your
sensibilities?
Hiding behind
the
INNOCENCE
of newly fallen snow ...
They are
NOT
who they
PRETEND
to be!
Look close ...
you'll see what I mean*!
They seem so ...
- you know -
FAMILY FRIENDLY!
Who can resist
HAPPY CHILDREN?
Regardless of
how
it
started ...
Here you are.
With a collection of
vintage
Christmas!
Hugs and Happy Vintage Christmas Monday!

Hope you enjoyed this collection of vintage (mostly) red ornaments and boxes that JUST STARTED .... it wasn't my fault .... honestly!!
Hello Sammy girl... oooh your collection is beautiful! The boxes are so precious too... thanks for showing us these lovely treasures! Bisous... Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteOhh I just love your vintage boxes. That's so funny Shniy! Beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteHappy VCM to ya
Oh Sammy Girl...
ReplyDeleteWhat memories you woke up in me this morning. I can remember seeing many of these boxes growing up as a child. How exciting is this? I especially love the old lights. They sure did get hot quick, as it didn't take much to burn you if you reached into the tree, but they sure were pretty weren't they. Not like the little lights today. I loved those bubble lights so much. The new ones they have out today don't last as long, but I still buy them.
Thanks for sharing sweetie. How precious is this post. Have a beautiful day.
Country hugs...Sherry
It is hard to remember how it all started isn't it LOL! Really nice and of course fabulous graphics on the boxes. Thanks for sharing. Judi
ReplyDeleteVery clever post. Sometimes the packaging is the most interesting part of these old decorations.

Very vintage!!! The box graphics are the best!
ReplyDeleteOops! Made it past the proofreader. I wonder if it is like stamps...are they more collectible because of spelling mistakes? Wonderful color on your photos. xo Joan
ReplyDeleteI would love to just dive into that pile of vintage Christmas goodness! Nothing beats the old Christmas lights!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love those vintage decorations. Who can forget getting burned on the old lights when we snooped under the tree? Or the excitement of seeing all come together to make a funny-shaped tree come to life for a few days every December? Thanks for sharing your Shniy Brites!

Love the red!
ReplyDeleteYes, I have started soldering charms. I don't think I have mentioned it on my blog yet, but I must have mentioned it to you. Just finishing up my first 6 tree ornaments for gifts.
Where in "Who Ville" are you located? Love your photos.
Good afternoon Sammy Girl. Loved the post......how fun. I too enjoy the boxes for what they are as well as their content.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, I think I love the boxes even more than the stuff that's inside them! You've got a great collection!
ReplyDeleteHappy VCM!
Carol
Love the graphics on the old boxes and the ornaments inside...to bright and red!
ReplyDeleteHi Betty! Lovely vintage oranaments...however I have to tell you, I love, love the pink ones in your last post :) They are ever soo pretty, especially the pale pinks...now I have to peruse your older posts to see who this Sammy girl is :) Thank you so much for visiting me and making me smile...I'll tell you what, we can be like Thelma and Louise and crash Rebeccas opening and maybe hide out in her studio :) I would offer to drive us on this grand adventure...but I tend to get lost in my own neighborhood...even GPS doesn't save me :) Now can you imagine seeing all those gorgeous things at Rebecca's not only her beautiful creations but...all the gorgeous things in her store and studio...I dunno if I would ever be happy again in my own lil blah world lol. But maybe we should plan...just incase :) Besos, Rose
